[Speaking] MoveNote
Today I'm going to introduce MoveNote, a very simple tool for students to practice speaking. Regarding CMC (Computer-Mediated Communication), MoveNote provides a platform for asynchronous, speaking communication. Due to these two features, students can have opportunities to practice speaking in a more relaxing way without the pressure of real-time communication.

Teachers can use it to create various quizzes and exercises, including multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering, and fill-in-the-blank. Also, the exercises will be uploaded to WWW so that they can be widely-spread.

[Collaboration] Edmodo
Speaking of online collaboration, Facebook may firstly strike to people of my age. When we were college students, we used it as a platform to discuss assignments or other student events. Doing teacher training internship, we organised student teacher works on Facebook group pages. Thus, it can be easy to think of Facebook as a collaboration platform in teaching. In this post, I'm going introduce you Edmodo.

[Lesson Plan] WebQuest
In this article, I'm going to talk about a tool that I just learned in class. Teachers can share their teaching plan and materials with colleagues via it. It makes teamwork among teachers from different contexts possible. Also, with student pages, learners can read and follow the instruction on their own. That is to say, students can have the least interruption from teachers. It's neither blog nor wiki. Do you know what it is? No? Then click on read more!

How to guide EFL/ESL learners to do extensive listening
In my experience, high students tend to be interested in novel things, such as pop songs and current events in Western world. Thus, I used to introduce new English songs or video clips relating to core course to my students at school. I'd design some worksheets or questions for them to practice and learn from the authentic materials. Although it was motivational and popular among my students, this intensive practice depended much on limited TIME.
